The price is Wright | The 90's trend

Dress : Urban Outfitters (sold out)
Shoes : Loeffler Randall (sold out)
Necklace : Etsy (similar)

If you hadn’t noticed that 90’s fashion has made it’s way back this year then get on the google and shop around for, well, a couple of seconds and you’ll see. Crop tops, windbreakers, overalls, hoop earrings, ditsy floral and sunflower prints, fannypacks, the normcore trend... the list goes on. Fashion cycles every twenty years so it looks like the nineties are back in full swing! Makes me feel like I’m reliving my high school days of watching My So-Called Life on my bean bag chair.

This dress shown above may have been purchased recently from Urban Outfitters by me but I did own this exact dress in 1993. I know because I wore it to a middle school dance with Joey Brenner with my hair up in ringlets and I have proof! But... my mom and I cannot find the photo anywhere, when I do, oh you'll see! It's a good thing I scooted out with this $89 dress for $19 because I couldn't possibly pay a lot for something that used to be mine. I mean, how did they find it?

These ditsy and sunflower prints, the ones I thought I would never love again are totally pulling at my heartstrings. So I put a collection together below of my favorites.

I'm 30 weeks pregnant this week. I'm also afraid I've run out of room for the girls to grow. According to all 5 apps I follow, they will double in size in the next 8 weeks! This is possibly where the outfit shots stop, and they house pictures begin! It could get awkward.

April's eBay share: A.P.C. Halfmoon Purse for $72.00.
Do you ever shop online as if you had all the money in the world, place whatever you want in your shopping basket like you're actually going to check out and close the browser immediately after seeing the balance? I know, right!?! Well, this purse I couldn't stop thinking about well after one of these faux shopping sprees. Who doesn't like a good hand-me-down, yeh?

Belly update! You'd think I'd have one by now, can I get a hell yah? Well, these bitty babes must have sprouted over night because I've finally popped myself a cute and obvious baby bump within this last week just after these photo's were taken. This really changes everything you guys. I was running out of clothes that could hide what looked like I ate 3 meals at once. The important things you know?

The price is Wright | Chunky Bauble Sweater

Boots : Surface to Air Wedge Ankle Boot (sold out)
Nail Polish : Essie

February's Price is Wright: Red Lucca Couture Chunky Bauble Sweater : $15

Sifting through all the pesky after holiday sale emails can be irritating; on the other hand some are worth taking a closer look at. Urban Outfitters for instance moved heaps of new product to their sale after the new year then offered another 50% off those sale prices. December 31st this bauble sweater was $100, January 1st I checked out at $15.00. I literally couldn't keep things in my basket long enough to check out due to people pouncing on these deals, so this was my one win! I recently unsubscribed from a large amount of emails that come through my inbox but was wise about keeping ones that might bring me these amazing prices in the future.

On another note, I may be wearing out my sway bang/top bun but can't help it. This sway bun is a 5 minute morning ritual and can't seem to find an alternative that works as well while my bangs grow. Suggestions welcome!

Vintage Tee : Etsy seller NOIROHIO
Scarf : Madewell (sold out but similar HERE)

December's eBay share: Vintage plaid maxi skirt for $22.

Tartan. Never more perfect than in winter, never more versatile than in 2013. Plaid’s strong presence on the Fall 2013 runways has me celebrating the return of the traditional print... and anyone can wear it. Make your plaid pieces more interesting by pairing them with pinstripes, tweeds, graphic tee's, or other eye-catching prints for a classic style.

Thrift shopping can be rewarding and daunting at the same time. It takes patience and lots of time but most well known thrift retailers have done most of the work for you by categorizing product by type, gender and size. Some of my favorite thrift finds are pieces I never knew I needed and don't know what I'd do without. This grid/check coat found last winter is one of those. The lining needed to be trimmed and hemmed from years of wear but feels brand new to me still. Don't forget to take the time to look in unexpected places while thrifting. You never know what kind of heavy knit pullover treasures you can find in the men's or young boy's sections.

Tshirt : Urban Outfitters
Jeans : Gap
Clutch : Gap (sold out but similar HERE)
Shoes : Urban Outfitters (old but similar HERE)

Gap just came out with a high-rise (the best cut in my opinion) skinny jean - online only. Simple skinny cut with minimal stitching, dark wash, a little stretch and a hell of a great fit for $69! If you are a gap card member they often send coupons in your inbox for 40% off as well as Reward Certificates. Because of these discounts I snatched this grained leather leopard print calf hair clutch for $29.

Here I'll be sharing fashion finds found for cheap so you can benefit from the deals whether it be eBay, internet shopping or local Portland events.

August's eBay share: Devi Dress by Jen Kao's Mah Na Mah Na
A kaleidoscope of vibrant florals and geometric shapes cover this loose bodycon pullover dress to perfection. I first laid eyes on this easy dramatic stunner at Anthropologie during a sale carried only in a size too large for me. So I did as I usually do and took a photo of the tag and searched eBay. mah na, mah na!

Below are a few beauts up for grabs on eBay right now. If you think they are too and they're not in your size, search for it. Chances are it will pop up eventually.

June's eBay share: J. Crew Striped Cotton-Blend Mini Skirt.
This striped machine was sold out on J. Crew's site so I swooped it up off eBay from a crazy seller who was willing to give this banding beauty away.

A little about stripes from me to you. Whether it's black and white, to clashes of color and quirky mixed prints, there's a multitude of ways to wear stripes this summer.
The black and white approach allows you to go bold by keeping things classy and basic. For a bigger impact opt for oversized silhouettes, unique fabrics and super-clean lines. I personally opt for clashing stripes against big and small florals, paisleys and patterns. It recreates a look each time you pair it with a new contrasting pattern. Seek for bright, unexpected and loud juxtapositions and wear them with pure confidence. If you aren't brave enough for this type of combination, turn to bold stripes on feminine silhouettes like summer dress and flowy fabrics. Nautical stripes are your safest most classic stripe option.

June's eBay share: Vintage Razza Ram head necklace.
I have a growing obsession for these huge animal head pendants by Razza; a real conversation starter. I've had my eye on the lion head in particular. After searching I've realized that this design is much more sought after and rare in good condition then the other heads. But, I was able to buy my Ram for $49 so look often for new listings to score a good deal because sometimes sellers just don't know what they have.

Ode to R a z z a
Little is known about Razza and his company, other than: He began making jewelry in the 1950s; The figural metal and resin pieces that he is know for were made between 1968 and 1975 while working for the The Certified Corporation.  Luca Razza made many different types of metal and resin pieces in the late 60's / early 1970s. The main ones are the Elephant, Lion, Owl, Bull, Ram, Goat, and Panda. He made all of these in small (approx. 1.5") size pendants, large (approx. 3" to 4") size pendants, brooches, rings, and belts.
