What she wore | Meet Taylor

I just about fell out of my seat when I received an email from my niece with this adorable photo attached titled "Look at how cute my outfit is".  

Meet my niece Taylor Pullen, a fashionista in the works. Taylor has taken an interest in fashion and sewing around the time I started the Apparel Design program seven years ago at the Art Institute. Last year for her birthday I surprised her with her very own sewing machine and has since sketched designs which have been passed off to me in hopes that one day we will pattern, cut and sew for her to wear. I'm proud to have helped mold another creator in the family and a future fashion nerd like me.

The cardigan above is a lovely cashmere J. Crew cardigan. One of my favorite pieces in my closet... until I accidentally put it in the DRIER. It was already a bit snug on me to begin with so it was only appropriate to pass it down to my growing little lady. Nothing cuter then 11 year olds in cashmere.
